Andrew Whelan - Tattooist                               

I'm a born and bred Notts bloke. Been in the tattoo industry since about 2012. 

I've always had an interest in tattooing - being tattooed frequently with my own designs and ideas until I was offered an apprenticeship. Tattoos for me have always been a form of expression and decoration, whether it's a small simple piece or a large elaborate body suit. Each piece will hold a memory or meaning that is important to the person who is wearing it.

As an artist my aim is to bring your ideas to life, to create a piece that will sit perfectly on the skin wherever you wish and give you an experience you can walk away from happy and confident. 

My personal preference for styles include bold colour, black & grey and geometric. 
I'm a gamer myself and so I'm a big fan of colourful gaming designs like the old school Sonic the Hedgehog and Crash Bandicoot, the Final Fantasy series being my absolute favourite!

I also really enjoy a bit of darkness in my designs -  so I try to come up with some weird and wonderful ideas alongside my customised designs that I draw for my clients.
